VerdanTech is seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual with a passion for design and technology to fill the role of Web Designer and Admin. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining websites, creating engaging and user-friendly web interfaces, and performing general administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the company's websites, ensuring that they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines.
  • Create and implement new design concepts and layouts for web pages and web applications.
  • Collaborate with the digital marketing team to develop effective and creative web-based campaigns.
  • Manage website hosting, domain registration, and other technical aspects of website management.
  • Maintain and update content on the website, ensuring that it is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Set up and manage cloud-based workspaces for clients.
  • Provide technical support to clients and troubleshoot issues related to web design and hosting.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, such as answering phones, responding to emails, and organizing files.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • While experience in web design and administration, preferably in a technology or marketing environment is preferable, graduates are welcome to apply as long as they have a protfolio of work to show.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience with website building platforms like WordPress and Wix.
  • Strong design skills, with an eye for aesthetics and the ability to create visually engaging web interfaces.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or other graphic design software.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with web hosting and domain registration processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Experience in general administrative tasks and customer service is a plus.

The Web Designer and Admin position at VerdanTech is a full-time position. The initial employment will be as a contractor, with the potential for a permanent staff position in the future based on the candidate's performance, commitment, and dependability.
