We are looking for Travel Advisors to join our team in Cape Town to provide excellent customer experiences to our international customers and travel agencies.

As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for responding to phone calls and email queries making sure their bookings, re-bookings, cancellations, and amendments run smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

  • Providing excellent customer experiences at all times
  • Verifying and updating customer information
  • Proactively offering solutions to any issues or concerns that customers might face
  • Owning the customer experience and following through
  • Working to a high degree of accuracy and speed
  • Comprehending complex customer queries
  • Acknowledging the feelings of others and reacting appropriately
  • Explaining steps and processes that others can easily understand

What you’ll need

  • Matric
  • 12 months international contact centre experience or in an airline reservations or travel agency environment (Essential)
  • Availability to work rotational shifts in a 24 / 7 environment (Essential)
  • High level of English proficiency
  • Computer literacy ability to speedily navigate multiple systems effectively
  • Results orientated with solution driven mentality
  • Attention to detail
  • Clear criminal and credit record

You will also require the following :

  • Ability to soft sell and convert a call to a reservation
  • Ability to pass all training modules during new hire and ongoing campaign training
