About the position

Opportunity for a Tax Administrator with a good understanding of eFiling, experienced with completing tax returns for Individuals and Companies, dealing with Objections and Queries, and preferably Estate Tax. Position will suit someone disciplined and assertive with good business insight.


  • Matric with Higher Grade passes in Maths and Accountancy
  • Minimum 2-3 years' working specifically in Tax Administration
  • Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken)
  • Analytical
  • Good judgment
  • Customer orientation

Duties include:

  • eFiling queries
  • Tax calculations (Individuals)
  • Objections (Companies, Trusts, Individuals and Estates)
  • Tax Registrations (Individuals, Companies, Trusts, Estates)
  • Trust returns
  • Provisional and Tax Season
  • VAT (uploading documents and handling VAT audit with SARS)
  • CUSTOMS (Registration)
  • Estate Tax compliance
  • General
  • Answering reception phone when necessary
  • Online Appointments with SARS when required - Often
