Candidate will be responsible for budgeting, organizing, and implementing the project scope from start to finish. Project Scope

• Paving Key Responsibility Areas: Core Functions
• Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications, and budget.
• Preparing and submitting construction project budget estimates.
• Coordinate the quality control programs with the assistance of the Quality Assurance Manager.
• Preparing progress reports and issuing progress schedules to the Contracts Manager.
• Adhere to Company Safety Standards and promote a safety culture among the ranks throughout the company.
• Hiring and supervising the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Registered with SACPCMP: Pr CM. /Pr,CPM or registered with ECSA: Pr. Eng /Tech.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in concrete water-retaining structures: reservoirs or waste water treatment works or towers.

Job-Related Experience

• Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.
• Ability to manage project activities simultaneously with a constant eye on quality.
• Knowledge of the civil engineering code requirements and scheduling methods. Soft Skills

Salary: R40,000.00 per month
