Job Description

Role purpose:

To develop and implement funding solutions for the Vodacom Group and its group of companies

Your responsibilities will include:

Developing, arranging, and implementing new funding solutions for Group companies including refinancing of existing debt
Constructing financial structures, negotiating new finance facilities, and reviewing funding legal agreements
Drafting of Board notes and presentations with strong excel and financial modeling skills
Maintain and analyze monthly cash forecast to identify risks and opportunities for efficient cash management
Engage and manage key internal and external stakeholders
Research and implement new Treasury projects

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Must have technical/professional qualifications:
Completed university degree, preferably in finance
Minimum 5 years of corporate treasury/banking and/or finance experience in a large multi-national corporate, bank or financial institution

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience :
Good knowledge of funding instruments including term loans, DCM funding, loan syndications, and hedging derivative instruments
Financial markets knowledge (foreign exchange risk, interest rates risk, money market etc.)
Strong report writing capabilities with extensive experience working on Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Experience and understanding of Treasury Management Systems
