As a member of the Commercial Team you will manage the customer project system and follow up on essential actions from the Key Account Manager's customer visits. You will be the, back up and admin for the Key Account Manager. You will maintain the Commercial and Customer systems for Commercial team and you will manage Master Data for customers.
In this exciting role you will: Co-ordinate Sales:
You will prepare monthly sales reports for the Commercial Director and the Key Account Manager to monitor the performance of each customer. You will assist Commercial Director and Key Account Manager with general CRM requirements. You will help coordinate customer visits.You will assist to prepare material for customer presentations by Key Account Manager and Commercial Director. You will request for price quotes and send to customers. You will monitor customer price adjustment timetables and upload prices into the system for all customers timeously. You will coordinate the commercial teams relevant customer master data input and data management across Givaudan systems.
Management of the Sample Department:
You will request flavour samples from units for customer briefs for comparison purposes for customers with CRM system.You will dispatch all samples together with the required documentation and certification. You will manage all samples in the customer project and keep customer updated.
Secretarial:
You will arrange travel requirements for Key Account Manager. You will do filing of general correspondence for the department. You will maintain electronic filing of documents and visit reports for customers and product information. You will manage the administrative tasks and ordering of all corporate gifts, desk pads and calendars for customers for year end. You will manage the timeous distribution of the relevant gifts to customers. You will ensure the smooth running of the department during the manager's absence by assisting with any with inter-departmental queries or problems. You will handle any customer queries orcomplaints that may arise, by working with the relevant persons to ensure that any actions required are taken and the followed through to completion
Safety:
You will assist to ensure implementation of the safety system and ongoing adherence to all legislation relevant to health and safety responsibilities.
Training:
You will participate in flavour training and tasting sessions. You will make recommendations of flavours together with the managers. You will coach learners to support the sales admin function and monitor their progress. You will work with inter-departments (Regulatory, Customer Care, Technical, Pricing team andsystem Power-users) on a daily basis to complete tasks.

Your professional profile includes:
Grade 12/Equivalent
2+ years’ experience in sales and customer relations
A deep understanding of our business and divisional goals and customers priority
Computer literacy, accuracy and proficiency
SAP knowledge
Ability to work under pressure
This is a Fixed Term contract position:
