Requirements
Relevant Tertiary Education
Min 8years experience with Safety/Security/Policing sector
High level of understanding, Public Safety and Security, Urban Management, Social development
Understanding of Local, Provincial and National Government Law Enforcement and Security structures and processes
Ability to network, build and sustain strategic alliance and key relationships
Ability to apply solution thinking
Good understanding of security management processes, protocols and practices
Understanding of Law Enforcement Code of Conduct and Ethics
Self-defense
Physical Fitness
Duties
Negotiation skills
Conflict management
Monitor and pr0vide ongoing feedback on new initiatives
Intervention
Provide input to S&S Board and other reports as required
Reports
Monitor S&S trends, patterns, incidents, developments
Impact of new interventions, projects and initiatives
Performance against budgets
Efficiencies
Admin processes, protocols and requirements are efficiently and accurately dispatched.
