Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Assist SHEQ Coordinator in maintaining the company SHEQ systems,
  • Ensure all operations are carried out based on ISO9001, ISO 14001 & ISO18001 Standards,
  • Updating quality audits and performance evaluations throughout the year,
  • Assist in ensuring the awareness of the company quality e.g. Non conformances preventative measures effectiveness,
  • Ensure non-conformances are raised and corrective as well as preventative actions are implemented,
  • Assist in ensuring the corrective actions to preventative measures put in place with regards to accidents/ incidents,
  • Assist and ensure infrastructure and operational practice are in line with Safety, Health, and Environmental regulations
  • Follow up on environmental issues and problems and compile a monthly report on the environmental KPI,
  • Assist with managing and monitor contractors and suppliers of yard maintenance and related services,
  • Take part in the Emergency procedure and assist the Chief coordinator with task on hand,
  • Assist with investigating security NCR performance in line with company requirements,
  • Take part in the Safety walk on site and compile report of findings,\
  • Assist in compiling Risk Assessments in all areas and assess and evaluate these risks together with the SHEQ Coordinator,
  • Complete monthly checks on equipment, first aid kit, Yard spill kits and Carrier audit checks,
  • Taking minutes and updating minutes of SHEQ meetings throughout the year as well as monthly security meetings,
  • Assisting SHEQ Coordinator in admin tasks and filing,
  • Assist with SHEQ induction training and SHEQ awareness training with all departments and contractors,
  • Update SHE master file on SHEQ system according training records,
  • Escort VW fire marshal when checking the fire equipment on
  • Stand in for SHEQ Coordinator on his absence from
