About the position

Reporting to Sales & Marketing Manager, the successful incumbent will be responsible for the management of the South African and global Retail, Catering and Food Service industry on a international level. It includes the running of Key Accounts management, stock and logistics management, liaising with 3rd party service providers (Sales & Merchandisers, distributors agents etc.), performance management and mentoring of sales team and subordinates. This position is also responsible for all advertising and promotions for the local market. This role will also be involved in factory fruit grade procurement with growers.


  • Com or BSc (Hons) Marketing
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the sales and commercial environment
  • Experience in the FMCG / Perishables industry (in South Africa)
  • Computer skills - Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Valid driver's license and own transport

  • Basic Food Processing and quality standards knowledge
  • Extensive customer relationship knowledge
  • Must be able to manage budgets
