Job Description

The role is to create a welcoming environment for the organization, its clients, and guests manage our front desk daily and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.

Key responsibilities:
Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
Receiving and sorting daily mail
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms, and brochures)
Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
Update calendars and schedule meetings
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing

Minimum requirements to apply for the role (including qualifications and experience):
Grade 12
1 – 2 years’ experience in a reception role
Computer Literacy
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
