RECEPTIONIST
1.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE


To receive and coordinate client and vendor visits to our office to enhance the overall experience of the brand and operations


  • OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE

  • To create an experience of ease and personal focus for clients visiting our office through a customised and dedicated service
  • To enable a seamless operation between business and clients/visitors through cohesive teamwork supporting the end-to-end coordination of meetings and functions
  • To align Reception to the business service strategy through instilling trust, confidence and satisfaction with clients
  • To facilitate internal clients in achieving their service objectives through flexible and supportive service delivery
  • To continuously improve/advance our clients experience through keeping abreast of best practices and proactively adapting in working styles and methods

  • KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Execute a high level of front line service delivery and engagement with clients, internal staff and event coordinators through high energy levels and dynamism
  • Keep track of regular visitors and develop a customized experience based on individual needs
  • Foster and maintain a team service- and client experience focused culture
  • Monitor and control visitors access and identify clients that visit our company
  • Meet and greet visitors and clients when they enter our building and escort them to appropriate areas
  • Offer and coordinate the delivery of beverages to visitors and clients
  • Reconcile and plan scheduled visits and specified facility requirements in advance
  • Provide first-line support for facility requirements (audio visual, video conference, teleconference, etc.)
  • Display a high level of responsiveness towards maintaining the orderliness of meeting rooms and replenishment of marketing supplies
  • Deal with elevated queries
  • Answer the switchboard on a rotational basis.

    QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Matric/Grade 12 Essential
  • Previous client facing experience within the hospitality industry Highly advantageous
  • Experience within the financial services industry Advantageous
  • Proficient in English Essential
  • Proficient in Afrikaans Advantageous
  • Computer literacy and aptitude for technology

    SALARY R200 000- R210 000 per annum
