Job Description 

• ESAB South Africa, a division of Howden Africa (Pty) Ltd is looking for a Picker/Packer to cover all aspects of receiving of goods, inventory control and order fulfilment for external customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receiving of goods / unpacking containers
• Action physical stock to different stockholding areas
• Stock rotation and bin maintenance
• Maintain a clean and tidy stock holding area
• Stock Count and discrepancy investigations
• Zero Stock Variances
• Maintain clear demarcation areas for different types of stock
• On time order completion
• 100% correctness for order picking and packing
• Order deliveries done accurate and din good condition
• Required documents signed for upon delivery and dispatching
• Adheres to all Quality, Environmental and safety aspects
• Adheres to all SOX requirements

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Certificate in Warehousing/Supply Chain Management
• Relevant experience in storekeeping and stock controlling
• Forklift License (advantageous)
• Good planning and organizing skills
• Good communication skills
• Exposure to warehouse control procedures
• Exposure to shipping container control procedures
• Computer Literate (MS Office)
