Job Requisition REQ 123345 Job Location Johannesburg Career Stream Legal Leadership Pipeline Manage Self: Professional Job Purpose To manage the Credit Collections Team. This team’s core deliverables are to manage pre-legal arrears accounts, excesses, and monitoring client conduct. The desired outcome is to mitigate the impact of high-risk clients to support the business in achieving the division’s targets. Job Responsibilities
  • Managing the quality standards and turn-around times of the team of Credit Risk Officers for achievement of division’s targets.
  • Manage and planning work-flow for the Credit Risk Officers’ output.
  • Reviewing weekly/monthly/quarterly reports on all aspects relating to credit risk (including impairments), and providing feedback to stakeholders.
  • Keeping records and statistics on arrears and distressed clients.
  • Identifying arrears and distressed clients where a restructure will be mutually beneficial; and assisting Bankers and Lenders in the Credit process for Distressed Restructures.
  • Review, managing and updated credit risk processes and procedures.
  • Manage performance of direct reports by implementing Goal Commitment Contracts, providing regular feedback to direct reports, managing off-standard performance and recognising out-performance.
  • Ensure debt Covenant monitoring is completed on loans where covenants are contracted
Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
  • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
Preferred Qualification Bachelor of Arts: Law , Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees Minimum Experience Level
  • 5 years role-relevant experience
  • Management experience will be advantageous
