Job Description


How you'll role

As the Marketing Associate, you'll be a key player in the company's industrial business unit, tasked with maintaining and strengthening the company's reputation as a provider of top-notch sawmilling solutions. To achieve this, you'll collaborate closely with the industrial team to craft marketing strategies and plans, communicate those plans to stakeholders, and raise awareness and promote the company's industrial offerings. This role involves significant international travel, taking you to corporate locations, trade shows, and sawmill sites to ensure that marketing efforts are effective and tailored to local markets. What you'll do

Strategy (10%)

  • Develop a marketing strategy by working closely with the industrial team
  • Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range goals to be achieved
  • Plan campaigns and initiatives for corporate promotion and communication, launching new product lines, etc.

Writing and public relations (40%)

  • Conduct research and interviews for material
  • Write and create content to distribute via social media, the web, external publications, and other channels identified within the marketing strategy
  • Write, edit, and update brochures, web, and marketing materials by filtering large volumes of information into clear, concise, user-orientated language
  • Assist the global PR writer within the company with writing and editing needs

Project management and implementation (25%)

  • Be responsible for project management initiatives working from initial concept to special details
  • Work with the department and other employees (design, web production, digital specialist, video) to obtain additional resources as needed during the project lifecycle
  • Source and coordinate 3rd party resources as needed to keep projects on schedule

Analysis (10%)

  • Review marketing data and KPIs on an ongoing basis to ensure growth
  • Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting the marketing plan if necessary
  • Utilise data for marketing campaigns, interrogating the organisation’s databases and external data
  • Conduct market research studies and identify new business opportunities

Group alignment (5%)

  • Align the strategies, campaigns, and other relevant business activities from the group to its subsidiaries
  • Ignite the group's passion and vision into the team
  • Learn and implements the corporate brand identity guidelines
  • Collaborate with the company's USA, Polish, African, and Asian teams

Budget (5%)

  • Set and administer an annual marketing budget with the input of the finance controller (on the basis of zero-based budgeting and in line with the strategy)
  • Control campaign budgets and allocate resources among projects
  • Negotiate with media agencies and secure agreements on the production of promotional materials

Admin (5%)

  • Attend departmental and company meetings and coordination
