Job Description
We are seeking to employ a junior IT technician to join our in-house IT team. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding and knowledge of computer hardware, networking and software components and will report to the IT manager.Responsibilities: The responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Hardware replacement, preventative maintenance, support on company IT infrastructure and systems.
Installation as well as ongoing maintenance and servicing of computers (desktops and laptops), network infrastructure, printers and other hardware and software as required.
Remote and physical support to employees (H/O and remote users)
Basic understanding of MS SQL databases will be an advantage.
Main purpose of role:
Diagnose, repair, install and maintain hardware, networking and software components of the company’s IT systems to ensure reliability and availability to company employees.
Providing support to the IT team within the company.
Requirements and Experience:
Two-plus years’ experience in an IT hardware, network and Software environment.
A+, N+ or relevant IT qualifications will be advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail.
Good problem-solving skills.
