Internal Sales and Technical Support

Purpose of the Role:

Purpose of this role is to provide technical support towards customers, sales representatives and managers of ASSA ABLOY. To also correct procedures to the role of order capturing to the point of order release to the courier company. To offer the upmost professionalism in all aspects of this role.


  • To ensure technical support to customers and external representatives
  • To ensure technical support is given to the branches and agents
  • To handle any other technical queries
  • To proactively micromanage the number of orders on the orderbook
  • To communicate on a daily basis, the individual service levels as per ERPLX delivery analysis report
  • To ensure that all data captured is 100% accurate
  • To assist with the returns docs and queries
  • To notify customers in writing of any discrepancies on orders within 24 hours
  • To ensure that customers’ needs are satisfied within 24 hours
  • To liase with production regarding the status of customers’ orders and give feedback within 24 hours
  • To assist with the reduction of costs
  • To liase with dispatch regarding deliveries and any other dispatch related issues
  • To ensure that filing id done daily as per Qdocs scanning system
  • To prepare all monthly and any other reports as requested by management
  • Sending quotations out within 24 hours
  • Ensure that ERP procedures and rules are followed
  • To ensure that back orders are emailed to customers on a weekly basis, or as and when requested by customers & management.
  • To ensure that ALL orders are printed and captured within 24 hours
  • To ensure that order acknowledgements are emailed to customers
  • To assist with the reduction of slow moving and obsolete stock
  • To ensure that all specials as issued are distributed to your customer base
  • To provide excellent customer service
  • To assist in the increase of sales turnover
  • To ensure written proficiency in the English language
  • Assisting with customer portal invoice links and order maintenance


  • (Grade 12) Matric


  • At least two years related experience
  • A proven track record in internal sales
