Mazars has an opportunity available for a focused dynamic individual to join our Human Resources department, based at our Century City offices.

You will provide comprehensive human resource support, guidance and advice in all areas related to employees with a view to maximise performance and support the delivery of business unit objectives’ through the creation and implementation of appropriate employee solutions.

To be considered, solid experience in a similar role is non-negotiable.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive annual performance and reward process, provide input and take ownership of the compensation plan delivery
  • Support and implement national change and people projects for the local office
  • Provide input during the talent identification process and submission of the annual talent report for the local office, this includes career and succession planning
  • Promote employee wellness and administer the annual Discovery Wellness day
  • Provide guidance and advice on HR related matters, i.e. employee relations
  • ensure that new employees are properly integrated into the business during on-boarding
  • Coordinate the 360 performance and behavioural assessment process
  • Provides support and guidance to business units pertaining to training needs
  • Review monthly Payroll
  • Support the Employment Equity Forum in its initiatives and preparation of annual reporting
  • Consistently seek to improve HR processes
  • Assist with the recruitment process of respective departments
  • HR Administration and ad hoc duties

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 with a degree or diploma in Human Resources
  • Postgraduate qualification will be beneficial
  • Registered Psychometrist / Industrial Psychologist beneficial where applicable in order to conduct psychometric assessments
  • A minimum of 4 - 5 years’ relevant experience in a generalist HR role within a similar environment
  • Proven Microsoft Office skills
  • Solid understanding of HR functions/processes
  • Sound knowledge of labour legislation is essential (BCEA, LRA, EEA)
  • Sound knowledge of skills development legislation and the relevant SETA operations (SLA, SDA)
