Job Description

Requirements:

� Grade 12
� Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management
� 2 years HR administrative experience
� Excellent computer skills
� Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
� Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently
� Ability to cope in a pressurised environment
� Knowledge and experience of the Kronos system (preferable)
� Knowledge and experience of the Sage Payroll system (People)
� Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations and information with tact and professionalism

Key Outputs:

� Assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
� Advertise vacancies, assist with short listing, screening of applicants, arrange, co-ordinate and sit in on interviews
� Conduct reference and verification checks
� Preparing offer letters, contracts of employment, employee files, onboarding documents and the relevant recruitment documentation for approval
� Oversee the completion of payroll and benefit documentation and ensure that all payroll inputs are timeously received
� Check the accuracy, completeness, and correctness of documents
� Maintain the Sage People System with updated employee information and create the profile of new employees
� Ensure that all other employee databases are kept up to date
� Co-ordinate the induction of new employees
� As required, support with industrial relations tasks related to investigations, disciplinaries, absconsions and drafting of warnings
� Monitor and report on time and attendance
� Prepare reports as requested
� Maintain the HR filing system
� Assist with HR related queries and requests
� Conduct ad hoc administrative duties
