What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)

You will be reporting into the COO, this roles is the Operations Pillar of the Business which supports Trading, Finance and Compliance.
As Head of Operations you will oversee the operational activities of the business and ensure that the workforce is productive. Your duties will include working with other senior staff on strategic planning, ensuring that staff are all aware of operational best practices and implementing new technologies.

What you'll need

You will need a minimum of 10 years' experience in a stockbroking environment with exposure to investment, financial markets, operations, and settlements.
Strong people management experience is essential. They are looking for a great leader.
A Solid understanding of financial instruments, including Fixed Income and Derivative Instruments The ability to work on various IT systems (advanced Excel, Accounting & JSE Systems, Including Nurton, BDA and Swordfish along with completion of ideally all/some of the JSE Exams).
