Duties and Responsibilities
Epol is looking for an enthusiastic Artisan Assistant at the mill. This role gives support to Artisans by doing daily line inspections and reacting timeously to breakdowns to ensure reduced times for breakdowns. The incumbent must honest and relaibale
• Grade 12 or equivalent literacy and numeric level or N3
• Basic Computer Literacy
• Physically fit – able to carry 50kg bags
• High level of honesty and integrity
• Previous experience in a production environment, minimum of 3 months
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Basic hand tools experience
• Shift work and overtime
• Do daily line inspections and give feedback
• React timeously to breakdowns
• Do mechanical maintenance
• Factory lighting
• Assist artisan overhauling and assembling equipment
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations
• Perform ad hoc tasks as required by Mill operations and/or designated by Mill Management.
