Job Description
Achievement Awards Group is looking to recruit a general worker with a vehicle and valid drivers licence to deliver best-in-class services in our supply chain and facilities division.
We are looking for customer-centric, goal-orientated, engaged, and motivated individuals to provide a magical experience to our clients and customers at every touchpoint.
The role is based at our Westlake business campus and will report directly to the facilities manager.
What is expected from you?

The admin and facilities support clerk will provide all round warehousing (picking, packing and dispatching), administration services, facilities support to the business, clients, and its customers.
Duties will include but not limited to,
Sorting and packing, dispatching, receiving, picking of merchandise.
Managing and facilitating the card dispatches and the management of the relationship with the courier company.
Assisting with maintenance (painting/moves), collection of post, procurement of stock, stand-by shifts (evening/weekends and public holidays) filing generators etc.

This position is accountable for:
Sorting parcels received from stakeholders and checking relevant information on the documentation received
Ensuring that correct items (quantity, model and item key code) have been picked and are packed correctly
Dispatching of parcels by accurately attaching the labels / letters to the assigned parcel
Ensures that all parcels (merchandise and cards) in the queuing system are dispatched on time and to the correct destination
Accurately capture picking slips into the relevant system and review courier dispatch reports
Produce manifest for deliveries and ensuring the collecting courier signs the manifest
Receiving of goods, checking against invoice to ensure correct quantity and signing delivery note
Manage the movement of goods received from receiving to marking bin
Sort picking letters according to supplier and scan items from relevant bin to tiered trolley, attaching picking slip
Pack parcel by checking picked goods against picking slip, ensuring accuracy of quantity, item code, etc
Pack items according to packing standards and product requirements
Place picking letter inside the parcel, label in demarcated area outside the parcel and ready for dispatch
Resolving queries related to receipt, dispatch and deliveries
Monitoring action list daily, and taking appropriate action
Adhering to and implementing all relevant procedures
Documenting and escalating exceptions and discrepancies to management
Ensuring stock room is cleared and organised within the agreed timeframes
Keeping track of all orders to ensure that all items are dispatched within the agreed timeframes
Completing stock takes as and when required (merchandise and Card)
Providing feedback on or logging queries on the relevant systems
General assistance with the facilities (paint, moves)
Collection of post
Procurement at various suppliers
Assisting with the filling of generators
Stand-by assistance
Locking of the buildings (evening, weekends)

Education and experience:
Matric or equivalent NQF 4
Available Vehicle with a valid drivers licence essential.
Two years’ experience warehouse administration, e.g. receiving, dispatching, picking, packing, general worker assistance
Experience working with a variety of stakeholders internal and external to the organisation
