About the position

Plastic batch manufacturers based in Durban Pinetwon is seeking a skilled Fitter and Turner to join their team

Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate or National Certificate Vocational
• Red Seal Fitter & Turner
• 2 -5 years of mechanical fault finding on manufacturing equipment and facilities
• Experience in a plastics manufacturing environment would be advantageous
• Excellent problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
• Detail & safety focus.
• Communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
• Ability to perform under pressure and concentrate in a noisy and challenging environment .
• Self-directed and the ability to work unsupervised
• Ability to work in team.
• Drivers Licence Code 8
• Own transport
• Standby and call out duties after hours
• Physically fit and able, ability to stand/crouch in positions for a long period of time
