Job Description

One of our impressive lodges is looking to place a FOH Manager … to be 1st line of contact for our guests. We are looking for your expertize, experience and skill to supervise & manage FOH, incl Reservation & Reception. Are you the one to fill this opportune position…? One of our impressive lodges is looking to place a receptionist to be 1st line of contact for their guests.

Must have exp in:

  • Point of sale system Apex, Plus central, Nebula Pos
  • Min 1- 2 yrs exp in Reservation / Reception /FOH
  • Min 1 -2 yrs exp in Stocik Control
  • Exp in Compliance officer
  • Guest Liaison
  • Previous exposure to a Lodge / Hotel environment
  • Pref a tertiary education in related field

KPA’s

  • ensure faultless and continual quality customer service at all times
  • manage bookings, greet guests,
  • seamlessly resolve customer issues or complaints.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills; multi-tasking with ease
  • Sound communication competencies
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage complaints subtly

Duties:

To manager FOH / Reception / Reservation

  • Maintain a positive attitude and friendly demeanour.
  • Welcome guests as they arrive
  • Manage incoming calls
  • Perform reservation requests
  • Respond to all guest questions and requests.
  • Manage guest bookings and reservations.
  • Keep a tidy and orderly workspace.
  • Verify customer information and payment options,
  • Determining rooms available
  • Assign rooms and respond to customers with confirmation emails or letters.
  • Accept payments
  • Check guests out.
  • Administration

Must have

  • Min 1- 2 yrs exp in Reservation & / FOH
  • Min 1 -2 yrs exp in Reception
  • Previous exposure to a Lodge / Hotel environment
  • Pref a tertiary education in related field

Qualification

  • Matric
  • Relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant computer programs.
