Job Description

Assessment process

Setting and moderation of assessments, this includes pre- and post-moderation process at the various schools.

LMS administration

Updating the learning path on the Learning Management System with required information and changes as directed by the Curriculum Specialist.

Implementation of curriculum

  • Coordination and implementation of teacher and tutor training and supervision.
  • Resource procurement and management.
  • Visiting campuses as directed by the Head of Curriculum.

Data reporting

Data collection and analysis with report to all stakeholders as required by the Head of Curriculum.

Projects and enrichment

Creating, managing, and implementing national and international programmes and competitions that enrich the learning experience.

Head of subject role

  • Reporting on teacher progress and implementation of the curriculum.
  • Talking part in cluster / regional and national professional learning communities as required by the examination bodies (i.e. IEB or DBE NSC)
