Job Description

About the position

Main Purpose

To search, attract, screen, select and on-board qualified and suitable personnel to fill our job openings. The goal is to attract top talent from our candidates, pool, gain competitive advantage and fuel company's growth.

Accountabilities

  • Consult with the hiring manager to acquire a better understanding of the role once the job has been assigned
  • Source candidates through internal applicants, job portals, head hunting and in-house database
  • Place external advert where required
  • Screen and send shortlisted CVs within 48 hours of position closing to the hiring manager
  • Arrange interview with the candidates, hiring managers and Business Partners (BPs)
  • Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Conduct reference checks on identified candidate
  • Screen all checks completed on the identified candidate before offer stage
  • Discuss package details with the hiring manager
  • Prepare offer for identified candidates
  • Keep hiring manager and BPs updated on status of offer
  • Report on the stages through the position life cycle
  • Create and maintain talent pools for potential vacancies

Skills/Experience Required

  • Minimum of a related tertiary qualification or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years' experience as a Recruiter
  • Agency experience is a prerequisite
  • Financial services understanding and network key
