Job Description
REQUIREMENTS- Matric, with the minimum requirement of a National Diploma in Accounting
- Min 10 years experience in a bookkeeping and finance role
- Bilingual in both Afrikaans and English with a valid track record
- Excellent financial acumen, accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to take full responsibility of finance job requirements
- Ability to work well independently and as part of team
- Extremely accurate, high attention to detail and able to meet deadlines
- Ability to properly manage your time and prioritise
DUTIES
- Management of all financial monthly reporting to the Directors
- Coordinate and communicate with suppliers and debtors
- Preparation of payments
- Intercompany recons of transactions and loan accounts
- Recon of suppliers
- Payroll assistance
- Reconciliation of VAT
- Preparation of Balance Sheet for audit
- Recon of monthly bank ledgers
- Assist with journal preparations
- Assist with Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR)
- Assist with Hire purchase (HP)
- Assist with insurance
- Assist with Fuel recon
- Ad hoc all-round duties in department when needed
