Job Description
Process all administrative functions relating to underwriting and claims in a timely and correct manner

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/TRAINING

  • Grade 12
  • FAIS accreditation (Level RE 5)
  • FSB recognised qualification

REQUIRED MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 5 years experience in the short-term insurance industry

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Perform underwriting and administrative service to new and existing clients
  • Process client claims
  • Assist the Relationship Manager with the preparation of required weekly, monthly or quarterly reports upon request
  • Report any customer complaints, both claims, and underwriting, to the Relationship Manager
  • Budget management
  • New business
  • Training and development
  • Ad hoc tasks

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/ COMPETENCIES

  • Flexi broker system
  • Negotiation skills
  • Computer literacy (MS Office)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
