Job Description
  • Training employees on the proper way to greet customers and handle different situations that may occur during work hours
  • Determining employee work schedules and making sure that all shifts are covered
  • Reviewing employee performance and interviewing potential new hires for all positions within the restaurant
  • Establishing policies for food preparation and safety, including how food should be stored, how to handle spoiled food, how to clean cooking equipment, etc.
  • Overseeing the daily operations at the restaurant, such as monitoring inventory levels of supplies and ordering new items as needed
  • Managing the finances of the restaurant by collecting payments from customers, monitoring cash flow, and submitting tax forms to government agencies
  • Making sure that staff are properly trained in all aspects of their job duties and are following company policies regarding customer service
  • Meeting with store managers on a regular basis to discuss employee performance and any problems that may need to be addressed
  • Overseeing all aspects of the restaurant’s operations and ensuring that the facility is clean and well-maintained
